About reRun

Top

reRun is reBar's new independent movie theater - located just down the hall from the restaurant. Featuring 60 reclaimed car seats, a full bar and gourmet snack counter, and a twelve foot screen, reRun offers just the kind of intimate art-house theater experience you'd expect from the creators of funky gastropub reBar.

Reservations

Jason Stevens is the creator and founder of both reBar and reRun. To quote Jason, reBar and reRun aren't traditional businesses - they're creative endeavors that happen to make money, sometimes. And really, that's what many artists would like, for their art to make a little money. When I saw the blank canvas that has become reRun I thought it looked like a good place for a drive-in movie theater. After that it was just the doing. Of course it's no fun if people don't come and enjoy it - so check it out!

Aaron Hillis is the curator of reRun, editor of GreenCine Daily, and a regular contributor to The Village Voice, LA Weekly, Time Out NY, IFC and Variety. He is also the vice-president of Benten Films, the first distribution label curated and run by critics, designed for cinephiles to uncover lost masterpieces and future classics. Aaron's co-directorial feature debut, Fish Kill Flea, premiered at SXSW in 2007.
